i’ve been out for many many years.

i still like to know the latest jw news although i find myself not as excited by things..

Being out for over 8 years now with a son and family that are a year out I still have a interest in whats happening in the borg. My son is working with another x-jw on a facebook page. For me somedays I am interested and other days I am not. Like minimus I like hearing changes in their teachings, money grabbing and the how the law is closing in on them for child abuse.

Recently I am coming to terms with my background as a jw and I realize it will always be a part of me. So I am using the positive things from my experience. As they say try to make lemonade out of lemons. Still Totally ADD

How a rumor of assassination spooked the Watchtower

president kennedy's brother robert excited the world as a candidate for president 5 years after jfk's murder.rfk, in turn, was murdered.the assassin's name was sirhan sirhan, he was palestinian.it just so happened the assassin's father, bishara, was a member in good standing as one of jehovah’s witnesses.so what?

so this:this seemingly innocent fact would jolt jehovah's witnesses into a near panic.

i know because i was there.here are the facts as i remember them.______the jehovah's witness, bishara sirhan unfortunately had a reputation in his neighborhood and community for being excitable, even volatile at times.

i saw my mother today for the first time in three years..

she was on one of the witnessing carts in town at a station i don’t usually get off at.

i did today as i was dropping my daughter off somewhere.

Pale so sorry for you and your family. In the last few days I lost a friend who died by falling in the bathroom. It was a hard reality for me to take in. It showed me how short life really is. The cult has done a number on us all to the point a mother could care less about her sons or her health. To think she believes satan is using a doctor to make her slow down. I believe the climate is changing but it always has. Humans has made a mess of this earth in many ways from poor farming practices, corporations dirting our water and air and humans in general in what we do live our lifes. There are forces out there we still do not understand but I feel we could do more. I say this because of selfish reasons because I have grand children and I would hope they will have a full life free of these worries. It most likely a pipe dream but I can dream.

Big problem is to many people and until this is adressed we will continue to over use this planet. Still Totally ADD

Correct me if I am wrong in the 1980's the news media started to bring this problem out. Making the general public aware of it. In turn many witnesses became aware of it and then the Awake maz. in the 90's had a article on it. This caused a can of worms to be open by the borg. The sad fact is this was the norm in human society before this bright light came out on it showing how sick this thinking is and the problems it causes.

I truly hope this will be the down fall of the borg. There are many things the wt. has done to show me they are not a honest religion but the sexual abuse that has and still taking place help to show me they are not the true religion and are like all the others who claim they are the way to god. To me the only honest thing they have ever taught is religion is a snare and a racket. A survivor Still Totally ADD.

It reminds of a time when I gave a talk out of town and only 5 people showed up. They all sat in all 4 corners of the hall with one in the middle. To be honest they were a small congregation of 40. I was told many were on vacation or sick. If only they all sat all together near the front. Just like this convention if only they sat together on the main floor it would have look bigger. Lol. 25 years ot wasted life. No pension or pay doing the bidding for the borg. Working 40 hour week to make a living and working another 20 to 30 hours a week for the borg. Who in their right mind would want to do this? Since leaving I have got to know serveral retired ministers of diffrent faiths. Both are getting a pension and was paid during their time serving. The thing is we who were elders were doing the same thing they were doing and I feel we were doing more. The borg are experts in pulling the wool over our eyes and boy did they screw alot of people by not giving them a there just dues. As far as I am concerned they stole a big part of my life for a lie. it is truly heartwarming to see so many new ones sign up to this site as most of us know it can be quite stressful at first ,because of the indoctrination we have all gone through in going on apostate sites .. the guilt ,paranoia ,fear , apprehension ,even being a judas fear, all unnatural fears put on us by a mind controlling cult.. that wants us to be captives of there religious interpretations about the bible.. however this and other sites like it are the only way we can find out about {the truth about the truth} ttatt.. welcome everybody..

the attorney cited in the article, irwin zalkin, has a track record of success against catholic dioceses.. "now most of you have probably heard about priest abuse and clergy abuse within the catholic church," said zalkin.
